She is the first person without arms to become a certified pilot. She has earned two Black Belts in Taekwondo. She is the first documented person without arms to scuba dive and like Bethany Hamilton, she would not let missing arms keep her from surfing. Reserve Jessica

When is Jessica available to speak for my event?

Contact the JCMS team to find out Jessica's availability.

How much should I expect to invest when I host Jessica for my next event?

The amount an organization invests varies based on the specific needs of the client. A majority of clients will invest more than $5,000 USD for an experience that will move them for years to come. You are welcome to request a quote for your organization’s specific needs by contacting the JCMS team.

How do I reserve Jessica Cox for my next event?

Step 1: Send the JCMS team an email that includes the date of your event.
Step 2: Send payment for the holding fee to lock in the dates. To request information for a money transfer, email the JCMS team for wiring information.
Step 3: If the dates are still available and Jessica has received the holding fee, she will lock in the dates for your organization.

Does Jessica do price matching or discounts?

Jessica is not a commodity. She is a unique individual with a perspective that sets her apart. No two presentations are exactly alike, so price matching is like placing the same prices on apples as you would on oranges.

What if my company or Jessica have to cancel after I have paid the holding fee?

Once the dates are locked in, Jessica is committed to the client’s event. If an emergency forces her to cancel her appearance, she will refund your organization’s holding fee within 60 days. If your organization is forced to cancel, Jessica will not be able to refund more than half of the holding fee due to having lost business when she locked in the dates, turning down potential clients.

Are travel and accommodation expenses included in the fee?

No. Travel and accommodation expenses must be paid separately by the client.

What is a holding fee?

When the client provides a holding fee, Jessica locks down the client’s preferred dates and those dates become unavailable to anyone else. Once paid, the holding fee is credited toward Jessica’s full honorarium.

How many presentations is Jessica willing to perform?

Jessica can provide the best service to her clients by limiting herself to no more than 3 presentations per day. An additional honorarium is associated with an additional presentation.

When should I expect to pay the honorarium in full?

The first portion of the honorarium is paid via the holding fee. Half of the honorarium is due within 30 days of reserving an engagement date or before the commencement of any travel by Jessica and her team, whichever comes first. After 30 days, Jessica will open the engagement date to other prospective clients. The remainder of the honorarium is due by midnight after the last speaking engagement or the client will incur a late fee of 10% of the total honorarium.

What forms of payment does Jessica accept?

Jessica accepts checks, cash and wire transfers. For more information on how to wire transfer funds email Jessica.

Where do I send checks?

Please send checks and any other necessary documents to the address found here.

How do I find sponsorships so I can host Jessica?

Jessica has been hosted many times by non-profits, schools and churches that have approached businesses and leaders in their community to help bring Jessica to their town. If your organization needs help promoting Jessica, she can provide image and documents to fill your advertising needs.

Events

Does Jessica provide a bio and pictures for the event?

Of course. You can view a selection of pictures here and you will receive a bio when you book an event.  If you require a picture of Jessica you find elsewhere on the internet contact the JCMS team to see if we have a high resolution copy available.

What are Jessica’s Audio/Video and stage requirements?

Jessica requires a lapel mic and highly recommends having a projector that is connected to a DVD player or a computer.

Jessica's current stage requirements include a bottle of water, two regular aluminum soda cans unopened (preferably of a clear liquid) and a glass with a stem.  A pair of Sprite cans and a wine glass work best.

Is there a limit to the audience size at a presentation?

Obviously a smaller audience will create a more intimate feel for the audience. A larger audience will require a larger video projection to showcase Jessica because to truly appreciate her presentation, the audience must see Jessica in her entirety.

Does Jessica speak only in person?

Jessica’s presentation is best when seen in person. She highly recommends hosting her live and is not accepting requests for long distance presentations at this time.

Media

Does Jessica give interviews?

Per her availability, she gives interviews. To request an interview, contact Jessica.

How do I reserve Jessica for a media appearance?

Contact Jessica via email.  Please be prepared with date and time information.
